FORS Practitioner training
The FORS Practitioner programme includes 16 flexible modules covering key aspects of fleet management from safety and fuel efficiency to compliance and sustainability.
Training is built on the foundation of the FORS Standard, giving you the tools to meet its requirements and raise operational standards.

FORS Practitioner
Covers the core principles of fleet management, helping you meet the FORS Standard through essential training in safety, compliance, and efficiency.
What do I need to do?
- Successfully complete 10 modules, including:
- Six mandatory modules
- and any other four modules
- Finish all 10 modules within 12 months
- Gain FORS Practitioner qualification
Recertification after five years (one-day course)

FORS Advanced Practitioner
Builds on the Practitioner programme. Ideal for experienced managers for deeper insight into strategy, performance, and risk management for those aiming to lead at a higher level.

What do I need to do?
You have two options:
Option 1
Already a FORS Practitioner?
Complete five more modules from the list: FP11, FP12, FP13, FP14, FP15 or FP16
Option 2
New to FORS training?
Complete any 15 out of the 16 modules including:
- Six mandatory modules
- Nine other modules (your choice)
Finish all 15 modules within 12 months
Is your FORS Practitioner certification expiring soon?
- Complete the FORS Practitioner Recertification course to extend your status for another five years
- Then, complete five more modules to become a FORS Advanced Practitioner
Once you’ve done that, you’ll become a FORS Advanced Practitioner

Each module is three hours long and supports Bronze, Silver and Gold requirements unless otherwise stated.
